Happy Veteran's Day From Factory Direct Blinds!
In November of 1919 the first Veteran's Day was announced as of day of commemoration of Armistice day by President Wilson. The original concept for Veteran's day was a day in which Americans could honor all veterans with parades and a brief suspension of businesses beginning at 11 AM. By May 13, 1938 an act was passed that made November 11 of each year a legal holiday.
Here at Factory Direct Blinds we would like to give all of our veterans a huge THANK YOU for all that they do. Because of them we are blessed to live in a free country. We appreciate all the sacrifices that they and their family's have made.
